Mission Statement
We are laity from around the world who are praying the rosary asking that through the intercession of Our Lady of Good Counsel and The Most Holy Rosary that every member of the 2015 October Synod in Rome will be abundantly blessed by and will cooperate with the graces and guidance of The Holy Ghost and will vote according to The Will of God. Anyone who is willing to pray the rosary is invited to join us. In furtherance of our mission of prayer we will meet in Rome on October 12th, 13th, and 14th, to publicly pray the rosary three times a day.

Celia Bellisario Dawson, of Bloomfield Hills, MI,  is the founder of the "Laity Rosary Prayer Movement for the "Synod on the Family"" and Margie Prox Sindelar, of Heath, OH, kindly accepted the invitation to be her partner in organizing the movement and encouraging the praying of the rosary for the October, 2015 Synod in Rome, Italy. Celia and Margie are women of deep prayer who love and respect the Catholic Church and her teachings.

We are strictly a laity prayer movement and are not associated with any diocese. Even though we are a lay movement, we do invite clergy to join us.

On behalf of the Laity Prayer Movement, Celia Dawson and Margie Sindelar express their most heartfelt gratitude to our spiritual director,  Monsignor Ronald Browne J.C.L., of Detroit, MI and our canonist,  the Very Reverend Vernon F. Clark, J.C.L. of Cody, WY.

Fr, Richard Heilman of the Holy League so generously offered to answer questions regarding how one might organize a prayer chapter in one's own town. We will forward all emails regarding setting up chapters directly to Father Heilman. Thank you, Father, for giving your precious time to this movement.

Please give serious consideration to joining us in Rome. For anyone who cannot join us in Rome and is interested in setting up a prayer station in their own town to pray the rosary during the Synod, please email us at prayforsynod2015@gmail.com

Every participant shall be responsible for their own travel and lodging arrangements.

PRAYER FOR THE CHURCH

All charity comes from you, our Head.  I love all whom you love, because of you, and for your sake.  I pledge myself to Eucharistic and fraternal charity, to spend myself for your Church and for my neighbor.  With your help I will love my enemies and yours.  Grant that I may reach out with a universal love to all the world.  Give me strength to make reparation for sinners, to take the blame and punishment for the sins of others upon myself.  Help me to despise none of your little ones, so that they too may receive the same Eucharistic pledge of hope that you have given to me.

AMEN
